A semiprivate tour for maximum 6 guests is the perfect way to maximize the comfort and to live a memorable journey on the Amalfi Coast, departing from Sorrento.
A comfortable and spacious boat will let you experience the sea and the most beautiful town along the Amalfi Coastline, sailing between Amalfi and the edge of the peninsula.
Departing from the touristic port of Marina Piccola in Sorrento, the captain will across the bay of Naples on the way to the edge of the Amalfi Coast, where the Norman tower overlook the ocean.
Acrossing the cape, the bay of Ieranto shows the eternal beauty of the untouched nature.
Dolphins, wales and rare species use to populate the bay.
Immediately after the bay of Ieranto you can see on the leftside the fishermen village of Nerano where the local fishermen use to deliver the catch of the day to the local restaurants.
The first stop will be the city of Amalfi, the main city of the coastline.
The Byzantine dome, dedicated to Sant’Andrea is the main monument and it is located on the main square, just few steps from the pier.
The local boutiques and artisanal stores around the main square offer local products such as ceramic, handmade opera of arts and local delicatessen, mostly made with local lemons.
After your visit to the city centre the Captain will sail again on the way to Positano, offering free time for swimming in one of the bays, characterized by the crystal blue water.
Between Positano and Amalfi a visit to the Furore Fjord is a must.
This natural creek along the coastline is one of the most authentic fishermen villages located along the coast and become very famous because it has been the location of the movie “L’Amore” by Roberto Rossellini with the beautiful Italian actress Anna Magnani.
Once arrived in Positano you can have free time to explore the narrow roads and to shopping at the fashon boutiques, famous worldwide for the artisanal handmade sandals and for the fashion linen clothes.
On the way back to Sorrento you can admire on your leftside the little archipelago called “Li Galli” where, according to the legends, the sailors use to be attracted by the mermaids.
The last stop before disembarking in Sorrento will be at the ruins of the ancient Roman Villa “Pollio Felice” also known as Bagni Regina Giovanna, in honour of the queen.
The boat features internal cabins and toilette.
